People around the world celebrate Hajj and Umrah every year. Of which about 20 to 25 million people live Hajj and over 1 million people observe Umrah. This Hajj or Umrah is to visit different countries. They use the plane. And have to stay on a long-haul plane or different buses or trains. There is a long journey for those who go to Hajj or Umrah from far away countries except the country near Saudi Arabia. There are also different types of activities before the journey. I’ll discuss this below.
Before the journey
Spend your time with family for a few days before traveling to Hajj or Umrah during the journey. Try to spend most of your time behind the family. Your children, parents, sisters, relatives, or spouses spend time with them. Story with them. Try to spend some special moments with them. Because our lives are passing, and the most respected people in this passing life are family. So try, try to spend more time with the family.

special duty before the journey, Ask forgiveness to everyone before the Hajj or Umrah journey. Ask for small relatives, friends, and friends. Even parents and sisters apologize to everyone. Everyone wants to pray, and pray for everyone. Forgive those who have ever had a conflict with, or those who have hurt. And if someone ever hurts you, forgive them. If you have a quarrel with someone, then mix it. If someone gets money from you, pay quickly.
Also, a few days before the journey, always read Estegfar, always read the Dua-Durood, always stay in Jikir, and say less unnecessary talk. Don’t talk if not too much.
Before the journey of Salat
Please perform two rakat nafl prayers during the journey when you leave the house. It will make your journey beautiful and protect you from any danger.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (r.) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said. When you want to leave the house, offer two rak’ahs of Nafal prayer. It will protect you from external dangers. (Musnad al-Bazar)
It is Sunnah to recite the first rakat (Surah Al Kafirun) and the second rakat (Surah Ikhlas) in the two rakat Nafal Salat. Read Ayatul Kursi after returning the salam. Because it protects from danger.
Pre-journey Dua
Before the journey, recite Dua while leaving the house. Dua to leave the house
بِسْمِ اللهِ ❁ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ ❁ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
Bismillahi tawakkaltu alallahi, wa la hawla wa la kuwwata illa billah.

Travel Salat, how?
If you are traveling somewhere far away. And if the distance of this trip is more than 81 km (according to Hanafi Madhhab), then you have to perform the Qasr of Salat. If you stay in Saudi Arabia for 15 days to perform Umrah, you can offer Qasr prayers. Again, if you stay in Mecca for 15 days or 15 days, and then if you are in Medina for 15 days, you can also perform a Qasr prayer in both places.

The way a believer should perform the obligatory prayers while traveling is called Qasr prayer. Generally, if the distance of the trip is at least 81 kilometers (according to the Hanafi school of thought), then he can perform Qasr. In this case, if he intends to stay on the trip for 15 days, then he can perform Qasr. But if he stays for more than 15 days, then he cannot perform Qasr. Although there are different opinions on this.
What about the Qasr Prayer?
The Qasr prayers—four rakat prayers—are two rakat. For example, Yohar, Asr, and Esha should read two rakat prayers of these three- prayers. And the rest of Fajr and Maghrib grace cannot be qasr. Fajr and Maghrib must read both two rakat and three rakat. Moreover, it is not wrong to leave the rest of the sunnah. And Sunnah is not over. However, Bitar must be read with the two rakats of Esha Qasr salat.
And if you pray behind the Imam, you cannot be paid the Qasr. If Farz is charged behind the Imam, four rakat prayers must be performed in Mukim. And Sunnah is not necessary. In this case, Sunnah is apologized.
Salat on plane
Prayer is more important than Hajj. Hajj is also on us. However, salat is more important than Hajj. But sometimes it is seen that many people do not pray on the plane while hajjing. It shouldn’t be too. Stay on the plane or wherever you must read the prayer to salat. In the situation where there is no option except to receive salat. There are options in any other worship. That is, if there is no alternative system, if it is not possible to be recruited for any reason. However, salat has no alternative. You have to salat. Therefore, stay on the plane or wherever you are and pray. Try while receiving the aircraft salat to stand at Kibla to earn salat.
Many times, there are difficulties that many people don’t want to pray on the plane. The solution in this case is Tayamum. Therefore, those who go to Hajj or Omar will collect soil or stone for Tayammum a few days ago. The soil or stone must be holy. If there is a problem with odhu on the plane, then do Tayammum by that ground or stone. But try to briefly odhu on the plane, but to do so.

To put it briefly, you will become your odhu if you can only work with the Wazu Farj.

If you can do Tayamum properly, you don’t have to do it anymore. You can perform Salat by Tayammum.
Fast during the journey.
If your trip is during the month of Ramadan, you can fast and shorten your fast. If you perform Umrah at a time when it is the month of Ramadan, then it is not obligatory for you to fast if you go to perform Umrah during the month of Ramadan. Then you can break your fast. And you can fast at any other time after the trip.
Some more things to do on the plane
Try to always recite the Quran while on the plane. After reciting the Quran for some time, if it becomes difficult, read a few different prayers and supplications again. Continue to read Istighfar more. However, do not recite the Quran so loudly that it disturbs anyone next to you.
And before getting off the last plane, you must make the intention of Ihram and put on Ihram. The washrooms on the plane are very small. Ihram becomes difficult and difficult there. So try to put on Ihram in advance.
