One of the five pillars of Islam is the Hajj. Hajj is one of the most important things in our lives. Whose above is a pilgrimage must be pilgrimed. But usually two types of people do hajj. A class is for people who have money, that is, they do Hajj. Another class is people who want to get God through Hajj. Love God. We will never be like first class. We will do Hajj or Umrah because we love God. God has made Hajj compulsory and is found by Hajj. And clean your intention. If the intentions are not clean, there is no benefit in Hajj. Mental preparation for Hajj Or Umrah
Mental preparation is very important for Hajj or Umrah. Because many new experiences will have to be faced. Those who don’t know before or do not have mental preparation may cause various problems. So I should be mentally prepared from before.
There are four ways mental preparations can be taken for Hajj or Umara; let’s not know four ways.
Mindset, journey plan, expectations, Hajj study
- Mindset: You’ll go to Hajj. Be Hajj to God for pleasure. There may be different types of minor problems, so take mental preparation in that way and fix the mindset.
- Trip Plan: You may have to travel a long time. It may take a long time to stay on a plane, so prepare to stay on a plane mentally.
- Keep Hope: Any challenging or unexpected situation may be faced during the visit of Omara or Hajj. If you encounter such an unexpected situation, don’t be disturbed, or just keep the expectation correctly for that.
- Study Hajj: There are various activities in the Hajj at different times. Try to know all the activities. Try to know all activities about how to do Umrah, how to do Hajj, how to do Tawaf, etc.
Spiritual preparation for Hajj Or Umrah
The first step of Hajj or Umara is the spiritual preparation. And what is most important for the Hajj is the spiritual preparation. Your Hajj is incomplete without spiritual preparation. If you did all right but didn’t take the spiritual preparation properly, then your hajj is in vain. So the spiritual preparation must be taken correctly.

Purification of intention, repentance, prayer, debt, Gibat, forgiveness to people, Jealousy or arrogance,interest and Other
- Purification of intention: First of all, the intention should be purified.The intention should be that I am going to perform Hajj only to please Allah. No more purpose can be kept within oneself. Many have the purpose of blogging, or many have the purpose of traveling. But if you go for Hajj with these purposes, Hajj will not be accepted. The only intention should be, I am going to please Allah. And one whose Hajj is accepted becomes like an innocent child. So we should hope that we too can achieve the pleasure of Allah by performing Hajj or Umrah and that we too can become like innocent children.
- Repentance: repent to God for all your sins. In particular, we commit shirk knowingly or unknowingly. So repent from your mind for Shirk’s sins. Because if there is a shirk in the heart, Our Hajj will not accept. So repent to Allah for all sins, including the sins of Shirk. May Allah forgive all sins. And read two rakat Nuffle prayers. Then turn to God and cry in Monaja. And always read the Istegfar, and always try to stay away from sin. Also try to avoid the any shirk
- Prayer: A prayer must be read after entering Ihram. Memorize the prayer
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ لاَشَرِيْكَ لَكَ
Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik. Labbaik La Sharika Laka Labbaik. Inna Alhamda One-Nimata Laka Wall Mulk. La Sherika Luck.
And there are different types of dua for performing Hajj, memorize them. And practice these prayers more and more. So that, going to Hajj or Umrah, you do not forget the prayers and do not have to memorize them anew.
- Debt: Allah’s Right Allah forgives if one asks for forgiveness from the heart. But Allah does not forgive the rights of the servant until the servant forgives. So, if you have ever borrowed money from someone, pay it back as soon as possible before leaving for Hajj. Because, if you owe money to someone, or someone receives money from you, then Allah will not forgive if he does not forgive. .So those who will get money, pay them money quickly. If Tina is not found, pay her relatives.
- Gibat: If you ever Gibat someone’s name, go to him and ask forgiveness. If he does not forgive, God will not forgive. If you ever slander someone, go to him and apologize. If he does not forgive, Allah will not forgive. So apologize to him.
- Forgiveness to people:If you ever hurt someone, apologize to them quickly. Because, if he does not forgive, Allah will not forgive. So apologize to the person you hurt. Even if you have wronged someone, ask for forgiveness quickly. Also, if you have a minor quarrel with someone, settle it and apologize to him.Even if you’re not the one at fault, apologize. and settle the quarrel. If relations with relatives are severed, develop good relations.
- Jealousy or arrogance: If someone has a point of violence or arrogance, he will not enter paradise. So if you have any kind of jealousy or arrogance in your mind, first remove it from your mind. Because if there is jealousy or arrogance, he will not accept his Hajj.
- Interes: If you are involved in any usury then get out of that usury quickly. Because, the person whose name is in the book of usury will never be accepted for Hajj. So give up usury and repent by removing the name from the book of usury.
- Other:If you don’t have a beard, then keep a beard. If you can’t keep a beard according to the Sunnah of the Prophet, then Hajj will not be of much use. Beard is very important.Also different types of women from different countries participate in performing Hajj or Umrah. Many times, young men are seen looking at these women in a bad way. They Try to touch them in various ways. Doing these will not benefit much from Hajj or Umrah.
From the above discussion, spiritual and mental preparation is very important. Because if you do not take mental and spiritual preparation, then there is a high possibility that your Hajj will not be accepted properly. So you have to prepare specifically and mentally.
